RUKSIN, 12 May: The people of Sille-Oyan circle in East Siang district have demanded the Public Health Engineer & Water Supply (PHE&WS) department to provide facility for proper disposal of solid waste in their area.
In this regard, Oyan block ZPM, Bimol Lego on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to the East Siang deputy commissioner, requesting her to pass necessary directions to the PHE&WS department to formulate a plan for disposal of solid waste, both biologically gradable and de-gradable in a scientific way.
The ZPM also demanded the authority to cover their area under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Phase-II).
