CHANGLANG, 25 Feb: The Changlang district administration, in collaboration with the Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC), on Friday organized a ‘fitness ride’ to promote the ‘drug-free Changlang and fitness movement’ under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
The fitness ride, which was flagged off by DC Dr Devansh Yadav in the presence of Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte, MLA Jummum Ete Deori and others, covered various villages before culminating in Wubang.
ABC members Thomas Tadar and Sanju Gyadi, Kantang ZPM Renu Mungrey and GB Thungman Jugli delivered lectures during a ‘drug awareness-cum-motivation programme’ in Wubang.
The inmates of the de-addiction camp in Wubang were deeply inspired by the speeches of Tadar and Jugli, who have themselves successfully defeated drug addiction. (DIPRO)
