PASIGHAT, 30 Jun: Local MLA Kaling Moyong on Wednesday visited the areas in Pasighat East constituency affected by flood.
Moyong, accompanied by PMC Chief Councillor Okiam Moyong Borang, East Siang DC Tayi Taggu, SP Sumit Kumar Jha, government officials, and representatives of the agency concerned, inspected the washed-away abutments and portions of the Sille Korong bridge, the road blockage in Mongku village, and other flood-affected areas like Boying village, the Yapgo prayer centre, Takilalung village, the affected portion of the newly constructed bridge between Takilalung and Yagrung villages, and Lower Baskota.
The MLA urged all the HoDs to be “alert during such situation and be available at station to reach to the affected areas and public at any time for help.”
The DC requested the public to comply with the administration’s orders and advisories. (DIPRO)
