AALO, 4 Sep: The district-level science seminar on ‘Millets: A super food and a diet fad’ was conducted at the government higher secondary school here in West Siang district on Monday.
Jeena Jilen, a Class 8 student of VKV Jirdin, won the first prize, and will represent West Siang in the state-level seminar.
Students from eight schools participated in the seminar.
“Through this seminar, everyone literally realised the enormous value and benefits of millets,” the West Siang DDSE said.
Aalo CDPO Bahi Koyu, DMO Dr Dubom Bagra, and ADO Tojom Ete were the judges. (DIPRO)
