APPSC’s commendable step

Editor,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for introducing the answer key challenge system for multiple choice question (MCQ) type examinations, commencing with the written examination for the post of general duty medical officer.
This pioneering initiative demonstrates the APPSC’s commitment to transparency, fairness, and accountability in its examination processes. By providing candidates with the opportunity to challenge the answer key, the APPSC has taken a significant step towards ensuring the integrity and credibility of its examinations.
The introduction of this system will undoubtedly reduce unnecessary litigation and controversy, which often arise due to discrepancies in answer keys. This, in turn, will save valuable time and resources for both the commission and the candidates. Moreover, it will enhance the credibility and reputation of the APPSC as a fair and transparent organisation.
I commend the commission for taking this bold step, reflecting its dedication to excellence and commitment to providing a fair and level playing field for all candidates.
I hope that we will witness more such reforms in the APPSC.
