RONO HILLs, 2 Dec: The 4th year BSc (agriculture) students of RGU concluded their rural agricultural work experience (RAWE) programme at Lekhi village in Doimukh circle on Monday.
RAWE co-coordinator Dr Bai Koyu acknowledged the unwavering support of the hosts during the students’ two-month stay.
He highlighted the value of knowledge exchange, recognising farmers as key innovators and custodians of traditional agriculture.
Host farmers shared their experiences, noting how the RAWE programme provided them with updated farming knowledge and insights into rural development schemes.
The students also reflected on their practical learning and real-life experiences gained during the programme.
