SEPPA, 18 Mar: The East Kameng District Task Force for Immunisation (DTFI) convened a meeting here on Tuesday to assess the preparedness for the special vaccination campaign (SVC) 3.0, the National Deworming Day, and routine immunisation, including RI micro-planning.
The meeting, which was chaired by DC (i/c) Ashok Tajo, was attended by the DMO, HoDs, and other stakeholders to discuss improving immunisation coverage and coordination.
The discussions focused on strengthening vaccination outreach, reviewing immunisation performance, and ensuring effective micro-planning. Essential updates and action plans were shared to enhance the success of these health initiatives.
The district administration emphasised the importance of collective efforts to achieve maximum immunisation coverage, and urged the departments concerned to work in close coordination. (DIPRO)
