ITANAGAR, Apr 26: The Itafort Community Health Centre (CHC) here is in urgent need of infrastructure upgrading and mobility support in the form of an ambulance, the CHC’s MO (in-charge) Dr Kabak Tamar said.
Speaking during a Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting chaired by Capital Complex EAC Hengo Basar on Thursday, Dr Tamar also said there is a need to ensure “effective convergence” with all the line departments.
He presented the status report on the CHC’s service delivery and informed about the recently set up labour room and non-communicable disease facility there.
The EAC on his part offered suggestions on improving public health delivery, and assured of all possible assistance from his end. (DIPRO)
