NIGLOK, 3 Oct: The Sainik School here in East Siang district has achieved a remarkable milestone with two of its cadets clearing the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA) written examinations.
The successful candidates, cadet Nabab Dadi (Adm No 90, present batch) and cadet Aditya Raj (Adm No 21, senior batch), have not only brought laurels to the institution but has also set an example for their peers and the youths of Arunachal Pradesh.
Sainik School Principal Col Anant Thapan congratulated the cadets and their families. “This outstanding success holds historic significance, as it marks the first-ever NDA examination cleared by cadets from the Sainik School East Siang since its inception in the year 2018,” he said.
The achievement has elevated the institution’s reputation and has instilled a sense of pride among the cadets, staff, parents, the Local Board of Administration (LBA), and state officials.
Col Thapan highlighted the unwavering support of parents, acknowledging their crucial role in shaping the determination and values of the cadets. He also expressed gratitude to Team SSES, parents, LBA, and state officials for their constant encouragement and steadfast support in nurturing the school’s growth and progress.
