Editor,
I would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and the authorities concerned towards an important issue related to the recently conducted JECRE 2025 examination.
The APPSC had released a provisional answer key for the examination and invited objections from candidates. However, it has been observed by many aspirants that the provisional answer keys contain several errors in both technical and non-technical papers. Such discrepancies naturally raise serious concerns regarding transparency and fairness in the evaluation process.
In this regard, we humbly request the APPSC to upload the final answer key before the declaration of the viva-qualified results. Publishing the final answer key will help candidates understand the corrections made, ensure accountability, and build trust in the examination process.
Additionally, one more important clarification is urgently required from the commission. If an answer key is challenged and found incorrect by a single candidate, does the rectification apply only to that individual or to all candidates who appeared for the examination? This lack of clarity has created confusion among aspirants and needs to be addressed publicly to avoid any misunderstanding or injustice.
Competitive examinations like the JECRE play a crucial role in shaping the careers of thousands of young aspirants. Therefore, ensuring fair evaluation, transparency, and equal treatment of all candidates is of utmost importance.
I sincerely hope the authorities concerned will take note of this issue and take appropriate steps in the interest of justice and transparency.
An aspirant
