LIKABALI, 29 Jan: Implementing departments and bank branch managers screened applications and finalised the beneficiaries under the Atmanirbhar Pashu Palan Yojana (ANPPY) for the 2025-26period, during a meeting convened by Lower Siang Deputy Commissioner Ainstein Koyu here on Thursday.
The deputy commissioner made it clear that “the committee should adopt a very transparent selection process based on genuineness, viability and potentiality of the trade and the prospective beneficiaries.”
He also instructed the departments concerned and the banks to ensure regular monitoring and feedback against actual implementation of the schemes to ensure that the project actually materialises.
Meanwhile, District Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Officer Dr Tagum Tamut and District Fisheries Development Officer Ige Tacha presented the guidelines and parameters governing the implementation of the scheme, along with the applications received by both departments for the 2025-26 financial year.
