BOLENG, 29 Jan: Four houses were reduced to ashes in a fire mishap that occurred in Parong-II Kinne in Riga circle of Siang district at around 4:50 pm on 27 January.
On receiving information, the fire brigade from Geku immediately rushed to the spot and launched fire-fighting operations.
The incident site was visited by Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu, Riga ADC Philip Jerang, and the Boleng police station OC to take stock of the situation and oversee relief measures.
Immediate relief was provided to the affected families as per norms. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. (DIPRO)
