Editor,
I wish to draw attention to the pending previous APSSB CGLE case currently under consideration at the high court, Itanagar permanent bench.
The verdict in this case was expected on 9 February but was postponed for four weeks and rescheduled for 9 March. As of 15 March, there has still been no hearing or update regarding the matter.
Hundreds of candidates and their families are anxiously waiting for the result. If the result is declared on time, many selected candidates will not appear in the upcoming CGLE, CHSLE and CSLE examinations, which will reduce competition and create opportunities for other unemployed aspirants. Additionally, waiting list candidates from previous CHSLE and CSLE examinations may also get opportunities as some CGLE selected candidates may have already been selected in those examinations.
However, continued delay may allow already selected candidates to reappear in these examinations and occupy posts again, reducing opportunities for others. This delay is creating uncertainty and affecting the future of many young aspirants.
Therefore, I humbly request the court to treat this matter with priority. I also request the pressure groups and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to take necessary steps to fast-track the case.
