BOMDILA, 31 Mar: The potential linked credit plan (PLP) for 2026-27, prepared by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) for West Kameng district, outlining the district’s priority sector credit roadmap for the financial year, has been launched.
The PLP was released by West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr Dilip Kumar on Tuesday, in the presence of NABARD DDC Dr Passang Norbu, Lead District Manager Jyoti Prasad Das, and District Planning Officer Henmar Taipodia.
As per the PLP, the total credit potential under the priority sector in the district has been estimated at Rs 313.10 crore. The agriculture and allied sectors have been projected at Rs 30.95 crore, while the MSME sector accounts for a major share with Rs 280.37 crore.
The remaining Rs 1.78 crore has been projected under other priority sectors, including education, housing, export, renewable energy, and social infrastructure.
The PLP serves as a guiding document for banks and stakeholders to align credit flow with developmental needs and potential of the district. (DIPRO)
