YUPIA, 31 Mar: Lobsang Tsering has assumed charge as the deputy commissioner of Papum Pare district, succeeding Vishakha Yadav, who has been transferred to New Delhi.
A 1995-batch APCS officer, Tsering was previously serving as commissioner of tax, excise and narcotics. Over the years, he has held several key positions, including that of Itanagar EAC, Tawang ADC, and joint secretary to the governor.
During an interaction with the officers, Tsering emphasised the importance of coordinated efforts, efficient governance, and commitment towards public service for the overall development of the district.(DIPRO)
