DOIMUKH, 2 May: The NSS unit of Government College Doimukh organised a TB awareness outreach programme at Kheel village in Toru circle of Papum Pare district on 30 April as part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan 100-day campaign.
The NSS volunteers conducted a door-to-door campaign to disseminate information and create awareness about TB. They appealed to the villagers to engage as nikshay mitras,and provide psychosocial support to TB patients.
NSS Programme Officer Dr Eva Dupak administered the nikshay pledge to the villagers and volunteers. (DIPRO)
