ITANAGAR, 2 May: Nenker Lailang, joint director of the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (SDE), superannuated from government service on 30 April after a career spanning 38 years.
SDE Secretary Bullo Mamu accorded a warm farewell to the outgoing joint director. Employees of the Directorate of SDE, led by Director Sibo Passing, also bade farewell to Lailang in a separate programme.
Born on 09.04.1966 in Reru village in Lower Subansiri district, Lailang had joined as industry assistant director in 1988, and was posted at DIC Seppa. He was then posted to DIC Ziro, where he was promoted as deputy director in 2002. Thereafter, he was posted at DICs Aalo, Koloriang, Khonsa, Changlang and Tezu. Lailang was later promoted as joint director in 2021, and was posted at the Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship till his superannuation.
