The advertisement published and notified by APPSC dated 7th june 2018 vide Adv. No PSC-R(B)/03/2018 for 127 post of PGTs and 540 post of TGTs both science and social studies (humanities) falls under the jurisdiction of Directorate Of Secondary Education, GoAP, not under the Directorate of Elementary Education.
And while secondary education or level begins from class IX-XII, the NCTE norms does not apply to it.
Hence, the request to make APTET pass as mandatory for secondary level teachers is baseless and unjustified.
Therefore, I would like to urge the authority to not entertain unnecessary and baseless request made by an individual or groups.
Also I would like to request every aspirant to support the commission for smooth conduct of the recruitment rather than creating avoidable controversies, which is detrimental for everyone.
