TEZU, Aug 29: Laa Tukum clinched the boys U-17 and U-19 singles titles in the 6th Dorjee Khandu Memorial State Badminton Championship- 2018, here on Wednesday.
Tukum beat Kirto Nyorak 21-16, 21-13 in the final to lift the boys U-17 title, while in U-19 category, he defeated Sonam Tamang 21-13, 21-9 to clinch his second title in the championship.
The pair of Kenjom Tacha and Raj Thapa beat Asif Khan and Raja Gupta 21-15, 28-26 to win the boys U-19 doubles title.
The boys U-15 doubles title was won by Lobsang CS and Suraj Chetry of Tawang, defeating Kipa Peter and Rakju Rigia of KKDBA 21-11, 21-13.
Dolma Tamang clinched the Girls U-17 singles title beating Ingam Potom 21-6, 21-13.
Dolma also won the Girls’ U-15 singles event defeating Kenbi Riram 21-13, 21-11.
Laa Robin won the boys U-13 singles title beating Pakli Bagra 23-25, 21-13, 21-9 in the final.
