YINGKIONG, Sep 11: Chief Engineer (P) of Project Brahmank of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) RK Dhiman inspected the ongoing road work from Pangin to Gelling and the two-lane Bille-Migging road in Upper Siang district from 5 to 8 September.
The CE advised the BRTF officials and staff to ensure quality, and emphasized on speedy improvement of the riding surface of the roads.
Dhiman informed that three long Bailey suspension bridges between Pangin and Yingkiong, which were in deplorable condition due to years of wear and tear, were repaired by the 1448 BCC of the 761 BRTF.
During his four-day visit, the CE also inspected the quality of all the ongoing road works. He said necessary training should be imparted to the working staff to enhance their skills.
Dhiman interacted with the GREF personnel, and motivated them to work in the greater interest of the nation.
The CE along with Commander SK Verma also interacted with local MLA and Health & Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang. (DIPRO)
