BOMDILA, Nov 13: The West Kameng district legal services authority (DLSA) conducted door-to-door legal aid awareness programmes at Sera and Pedung villages on Tuesday.
The DLSA team, comprising advocates Rinchin Khandu and Lham Tsering and paralegal volunteers Tashi Droma and Tenzin Zimba apprised the villagers of free legal counselling, child trafficking, the POCSO Act, the Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Act, lok adalat, etc.
Thirty-five households benefited from the campaign.
