KAMBA/BAGRA, Dec 5: An awareness camp was organized for all the organized and un-organized sector workers of Kamba and Bagra under West Siang district by the Arunachal Pradesh & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) on Wednesday.
Addressing the workers on the occasion, APB&OCWWB chairman Jalley Sonamsaid that under the state government’s initiative, government housing loan, tools benefits and radio sets will be provided to the registered workers of the state by the APB&OCWWB.
Informing about all the statutory and non-statutory benefits, he appealed to the workers to get registered under the APB&OCWWB to avail them.
Sonam also informed about the PMJJB & PMSBY life insurance and said that the Arunachal Pradesh Building Workers Welfare Board will bear the premium at the rate of Rs 330 and Rs 12 per annum from one percent cess for the welfare of the workers.
Later, he distributed blankets, solar lamps, and mosquito nets to workers in presence of former panchayat leader, GBs and APB&OCWWB officials.
