NAHARLAGUN, Dec 6: Odisha defeated Maharashtra 4-2 in the going Hero Sub-Junior National Football Championship at RG Stadium here on Thursday.
Jhunu Kuldi of Odisha scored two goals in the 13th and 25th minutes, which was reduced by Jaden Irani in the 40th minute, making the score board read 2-1.
In the second half of the match, Maharashtra played smart and Satish Kondamuri of the team scored a goal in the 48th minute, taking the score to 2-2.
Arbin Lakra of Odisha scored two goals for the team in the 55th and the 95th minute to snatch the match away from Maharashtra 4-2.
In the second match, Punjab thrashed Tamil Nadu 9-0.
