ITANAGAR, Dec 8: A group of 30 students from various schools of Papum Pare district were taken on an educational tour to Shillong, Meghalaya, by the 31st battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) under their civic action programme.
Accompanied by two teachers and an officer of the ITBP, the group of students, comprising 15 boys and an equal number of girls, visited Don Bosco Museum, Mawiynnong village, the Umiam lake, Elephant Falls, Mawsynram, etc, during the six-day tour which began on 3 December.
The flagging in ceremony was held at the ITBP’s NE frontier headquarters here on Saturday.
