PRC a dead issue: Felix

The PRC is a dead issue as the state government has made it very clear that it will not pursue it anymore, said government spokesman and RWD Minister Bamang Felix.
Speaking to this daily, Felix expressed deep sadness over the death of three youths and the injuries caused to several others.
“With a heavy heart, I would like to tell the family members that we are with them. This is a very unfortunate incident and we will do everything possible from our side for them,” he said.
Felix appealed to all to maintain peace and communal harmony.
“We are getting reports that a certain Arunachalee community is being targeted – which is against tribal ethics. We tribals are proud of living together as Arunachalees. Anyone who is indulging in such acts is doing great disservice to the spirit of the tribal communities of Arunachal Pradesh,” he said.
Felix said the state government would take care of each and every citizen of the state, and appealed to the people to shun violence.
