ROING, Jul 1: Dambuk MLA Gum Tayeng urged all concerned to propose projects that would be beneficial to the public of her constituency, assuring that she would pursue with the government the matter of inclusion of such projects in the upcoming budget session.
During a meeting here on Monday, Tayeng reviewed various ongoing and proposed developmental projects in her constituency. The meeting was attended by Lower Dibang Valley DC Mitali Namchoom, Dambuk ADC Rujjum Rakshap, HoDs, and administrative officers.
Namchoom urged the departments’ heads to coordinate with one another and “ensure that there is no duplication in schemes.”
She also urged the works departments to “keep the beneficiary departments and the administrative officers informed, so that all the projects can be implemented properly and on time.”
Apart from ongoing and proposed development works, issues like problems being faced by the departments, land acquisition, etc, were also discussed during the meeting. (DIPRO)
