PASIGHAT, Sep 19: East Siang DC Kinny Singh reviewed the achievement under the routine immunization programme during a meeting of the district task force on immunization here on Thursday.
The DC stressed the need for achieving 100 percent coverage in antenatal registration and immunization in the district, and expressed hope that the district would achieve “100 percent annual target.”
“Regular reporting and proper data management are essential to project the true picture of achievement and challenges to the government,” she said.
Singh asked all the medical officers of the peripheral hospitals to create awareness on Ayushman Bharat and the CMAAY.
DRCHO Dr T Gao highlighted the need for routine immunization of children and pregnant women, while MOs and other officials enumerated the requirements at their respective PHCs and CHCs.
Among others, DMO Dr Kaling Dai, BPGH Medical Superintendent Dr YR Darang, and district ASHA nodal officer Dr N Ratan attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
