It is a matter of great resentment that Landline Telephones and Broadband services of BSNL in P-Sector area, Itanagar have been defunct for the last 10 days and the BSNL authorities are not taking any tangible action for restoring the service. The disruption causes great difficulty for the consumers especially students. Despite repeated requests for early restoration of service, the authorities have not taken any fruitful action so far.
The consumers have unanimously decided that in the backdrop of non-availability of aforesaid services, the period of communication disruption should be exempted from monthly rent.
