BANDERDEWA, Sep 12: Minister Land Management, Urban Development and Doimukh local MLA, Nabam Rebia emphasized that centrally sponsored schemes should reach beneficiaries at the grass-root level.
Addressing party leaders and workers during a mandal executive meeting at Nyokum Hall on Tuesday, he said that the state and centre are ruled by the same party and party leaders should extend full support to its leaders, so that the fruits of development reach to the grassroots.
Highlighting that Banderdewa is the gateway to the state capital, Rebia said that it is the duty of everyone to keep the town clean.
Later, former MLA and APAMB Chairman, Ngurang Pinch moved the political resolution, while BJP Organising Secretary (Western Parliament) Dug Saha moved the economic resolution which has already been passed by the state executive body meeting recently.
