ITANAGAR, Sep 23: The second governing body meeting of Hospital Management Society (Rogi Kalyan Samiti ) was conducted here at CHC Itafort on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Itafort CHC MO in-charge, Dr Kabak Tamar highlighted the issues and challenges of the Itafort Health Centre in delivering health services. He stressed on the need of urgent upgrade of the hospital, mobility support, such as ambulances and effective convergence with all the line departments.
Tamar also presented a status report of various hospital delivery services.
NUHM Nodal officer, Dr Raja Dodum suggested joint efforts of all the stakeholders, such as DAY-NULM & SBM-U (Urban Development), ICDS and NUHM, with involvement of self help groups, AWWs and U-ASHAs for success of health service.
The members of the governing body also gave various suggestions for improvement of public health service delivery and stressed on effective monitoring and supervision to ensure proper implementation of various national health programmes.
Capital Complex EAC, Jiken Bomjen presided over the meeting.
