[By Anil Bairwal]
There are holy
trees all around,
but no pictures
of gods
pasted on them.
There are fences,
railings and walls
but no images
of goddesses
glued to them.
There are crossroads
just like in any other
human dwelling,
but no sacred statues
erected on them.
There is no need
because God pervades
this entire region,
because God still makes
His presence felt in
every beating heart.
