Dear Editor,
Through this esteemed daily, it is to request the State Government under CM Pema Khandu to bring into effect revised allowances specially House Rent Allowance (HRA). Central Government has already implemented revised HRA i.e. 8% of Basic pay of pay matrix w.e.f. 1st July 2017. Most of Government employees find it difficult to get Government accommodations and have to stay in rented house. The rate of rent houses are soaring day by day so the delay in implementing revised HRA is worsening the situation.
Also, every employee under central government are entitled for Transport Allowance. It is annoying that move for implementation of Transport Allowance by CoOSAAP is still under consideration. while most of the department doesn’t provide departmental vehicle and specially Group B and C employees has to face the brunt as they have to travel from their residence to duty place at their own expenses.
Therefore, it is earnest request to State Government to consider above allowances and bring it into effect for betterment of every employees.
