YAZALI, Nov 29: Transport Parliamentary Secretary, Likha Saaya announced Rs 5 lakhs from his MLA LAD fund for construction of an assembly shed and installation of separate transformer for Government Higher Secondary School, Yazali.
He made this announcement during the inaugural of the 52nd Annual Sports Day of the school, on Wednesday.
Addressing the gathering of students, faculty members, government officials and Panchayat leaders, Saaya emphasised on quality education and stressed on the role of teachers in preparing students to be good citizens of the country.
A colourful cultural programme was also held to mark the day, apart from sports activities.
