NAHARLAGUN, Nov 29: A two-day workshop on ‘Clean Election’ was held at the Nyishi Baptist Church Council (NBCC) in Model Village, Naharlagun on November 28 and 29.
Over hundred NBCC workers from various churches attended the workshop, besides a few social workers.
NBCC General Secretary Reverend Tar Choya presented a paper on the urgent need and impact of a clean election.
Advocate Norbu Lama, President of Arunachal Baptist Church Council exhorted on voters to maintain integrity while exercising their rights for free and fair election.
Members unanimously committed to sign a pledge to work together for a corruption-free election and formed a committee to frame out strategies and modalities on the ‘Clean Election’ campaign.
