This is in regard to an article published in your esteemed daily dated 23.11.17, titled “CM gives green signal for Mechukha district”.
Its not Mechukha, its Shi-Yomi district. Regarding the name for new proposed district, a general meeting was held among the four indigenous tribe of Mechukha sub-division(Libo, Ramo, Bokar and Memba) in which Shi-Yomi has been agreed upon as the district name and Tato circle as its district headquarters by all the public present in the meeting.
