Dear Editor,
The recent controversy about the pattern and conduct of APPCSE 22017 has hit us like a typhoon – both who performed extremely well as well as the underperformers.
It is high time, the commission should understand that until and unless the factor of optional in prelims is there, comparisons and fault finding will always be prevalent after the exam.
CSAT will also play an important role in selecting potential candidates for the mains and hence provide deserving candidates for the most coveted jobs of the state.
The commission must implement CSAT formula like the UPSC here too to nullify all differences which arises out of optional papers in prelims.
Therefore, as an aspiring candidate I urge the commission to implement CSAT in APPCSE prelims for smooth and fair conduct of exam.
