ZIRO, Dec 18: The IT & Communication Department organized a sensitization programme on the Digital Initiatives of Arunachal Pradesh at the DC’s conference hall here in Lower Subansiri district on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner Kemo Lollen encouraged all the HoDs and officials to keep themselves abreast of and be familiar with the digital initiatives of the government.
“Poor internet connectivity may hinder the implementation of these initiatives, but we need to know the nitty-gritty of the portals and disseminate the same to subordinates,” he said.
IT & Communication Project Officer, Banya Boje Ronya, made a PowerPoint presentation on the digital initiatives.
“Although the state government has started many digital initiatives, their implementation at the district level is very poor. Therefore the IT & Communication department has started campaigns in all the districts to familiarize the officials and give hands-on training to the staffs concerned,” she said.
She spoke about initiatives like e-Office, wi-fi connectivity, CPGRAMS, the Govt e-Marketplace, Service Plus, and the e-Innerline Permit System.
She requested all present to circulate the toll free CM’s helpline number, 155250, which receives grievances from the public and forwards them to the government for redress.
ADC Nending Chatung, EAC Mobia Tai, HoDs, and staffers from the DC and the NIC offices attended the programme. (DIPRO)
