Dear Editor,
Through your esteemed daily, we would like to bring to the kind notice of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department as well as govt of Arunachal Pradesh that not a single new post of veterinary officer has been created since the inception of A.P as a full-fledged state despite exponential growth in annual livestock population.
This has rendered many qualified veterinarians without a job under state govt.
And subsequently, many veterinary graduates have crossed the upper age limit of 35 years. It’s to be noted here that the upper age limit for recruitment of V.O in many states such as Assam, Manipur, Bihar, M.P, Haryana is 40 years and above.
Therefore, the unemployed veterinarians of Arunachal Pradesh earnestly and fervently request the state govt to create additional post of Veterinary Officer and to relax the upper age of eligible candidates from existing 35 years to 40 years or above as soon as possible.
Furthermore, we request APPSC to kindly defer the scheduled date of upcoming examination for the post of V.O which is going to be held on Jan 27th & 28th 2018 until our demands are met.
Yours,
Dr.Koj Morchi
President,
