BOMDILA, Dec 28: West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr Sonal Swaroop in a meeting here on Wednesday reviewed the implementation of ongoing flagship programmes under the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA).
Addressing the block development officers (BDO), extension officers, field functionaries and DRDA officials of the district, Dr Swaroop suggested that local issues should be sorted out with the help of the administrative officers and panchayat members concerned.
She urged the officers to strictly adhere to the guidelines while implementing the schemes. The DC also stressed on opening accounts and Aadhaar seeding of the beneficiaries, along with geo-tagging assets, and updating MIS and job cards.
DRDA Project Director, KN Damo, urged the block and DRDA officials to “work with team spirit” in order to ensure proper implementation of all flagship programmes within the stipulated timeframes.
The BDOs submitted reports on various ongoing programmes, including geo-tagging, MIS uploading, Aadhar and bank account seeding, preparation of labour budget, and baseline survey of other allied programmes.
They also enumerated the difficulties they face while carrying out their duties.
