School without teachers

Dear Editor,
Through your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the concern department towards the lack of teaching staffs in govt. higher secondary school Seppa Bebo colony, East Kameng district.
The school with only four classes (class 9, 10, 11 and12) has about 2200 numbers of registered students. In the junior classes each class has three sections and on an average, there are around 180 students in each section. The school owing to its lack of sufficient classrooms has many other problems as well. There is no science TGT in the school as a result of that the laboratory assistants are made to teach junior science section (all -physics, chemistry and biology). Even the PET teachers are also working as social science teacher in the school. This problem is lingering since past few years, many students just passed their CBSE exams by taking private tuitions in respective tuition centres and those who could not afford to do so are left at the mercy of their “luck”. The problem is not only in junior sections ,the senior science section also do not have chemistry teacher .
The school authority have been sending application to the concern department regarding need of teaching staffs in the school. I know this is a end term of the session and I cannot expect any magic of teacher being transferred from somewhere but this is just a reminder to look into the matter seriously and do some needful for the coming session. Seppa is a beautiful place to live in. People here are as lovable as people from other districts.
Please do not be furious when posted in the district.
I hope this letter of mine will be treated as cumulative voice of all.
Yours,
Chera Akia
Lab. Assistant,
