NAMSAI, Jan 27: Planning Parliamentary Secretary (PS) and local MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom inaugurated the DRDA complex here on Saturday.
Expressing satisfaction at the quality of work and timely completion of the buildings, Namchoom said he would pursue the state government regarding allocation of fund for construction of more residential accommodation in Namsai.
“Namsai being a new district, many new offices are coming up here, and government officials are facing acute problems for want of accommodation,” he said.
Namsai Deputy Commissioner RK Sharma and DIG (East) Apur Bitten accompanied the PS. ADC B Talukdar, along with panchayat members, HoDs, public leaders and others were also present at the function.
