SEPPA, Feb 15: The state BJP has expelled East Kameng district Zilla Parishad Chairperson Mering Natung for six years for allegedly carrying out anti-party activities during the Pakke-Kessang assembly constituency bye-election.
In the expulsion order, state BJP president Tapir Gao said the party’s disciplinary action committee has sufficient evidence that “Natung performed the duty of polling agent for the Congress candidate” at the Veo polling station in Pijarang circle and recommended her expulsion.
