ITANAGAR, Mar 16: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has welcomed the passing of the Criminal Laws (Arunachal Pradesh) Amendment Bill in the State Assembly on Friday.
The Bill was the need of the hour in the wake of increasing crime against women, AAPSU said, and hoped once it becomes Act, the Bill will protect the dignity of women.
AAPSU also appreciated the Government for the Land Settlement and Records Amendment Bill, 2018 and Money Lending (Regulation) Bill 2018.
The AAPSU appealed to the State Government to seek public opinion regarding the drafting of clauses in the Bills for more inclusive and accommodating insightful suggestions.
