Dear Editor,
I would like to put the grievances of TGT Commerce teachers serving in various government schools. Despite the fact that we are to teach the students of class 11and 12, we have been appointed as TGT whereas the teacher for other streams for the same class was recruited as PGT. These treatments of commerce teachers are regrettable.
The recent advertisement for recruiting PGT Commerce teacher is a welcome step, but what about those who are serving as TGT commerce teacher for last many years? Don’t they deserve to be promoted or they should remain as TGT while welcoming the newly recruited PGT as their senior? The department concern may rectify the anomaly for greater interest of teachers serving as TGT in commerce stream.
