ITANAGAR, Jul 14: As many as 288 cases were disposed of during the National Lok Adalat organized by the Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority across the state on Saturday.
The cases settled at various courts in Yupia, Basar, Bomdila, Seppa, Roing, Aalo and Tawang included 264 pre-litigation cases and 24 pending matrimonial, bank recovery, criminal and other cases of compoundable nature.
A total amount of Rs 28,56,464 was realized as compensation during the lok adalat sessions.
