Dear Editor,
The government schools in Longding district are at the top of the list as worse performing schools in entire Arunachal this year. We had swallowed the bitter reality and the wound is still fresh with us.
More surprising reality and bitter truth is that a month had passed after the commencement of new academic session but the class-VII and VIII students of Govt. schools in our district are attending classes without any book. Not a single book has been provided by our Government till now.
So, what makes one expect from students to perform well without books ?
It is humble request to the education department to look into the matter seriously if it is really concerned about the future of our students.
