We would like to share certain views regarding APPSCCE Prelims on 29 July. Since the request for removing the Optional subject in Prelims was rejected so we would like to request the esteemed APPSC members to please adopt Scaling Method for various Optional papers in Prelims as it was earlier done in UPSC before deciding the cut off and declaring the result because Optional are the deciding factor in Prelims as each question carries 2 marks in Optional paper with total 250 marks compared to General Studies paper which carry 1 mark for each question with total 150 marks.
Otherwise once again the candidates with easier Optional paper will pass and the candidates with tougher Optional paper will not get to play the fair game.
