NAHARLAGUN, Aug 8: State’s oldest club football tournament – the Eagle Football Championship is scheduled to be held from 22 September, informed John Neelam, Competition Director, Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA).
The 7th edition of the tournament of the state will feature registered clubs under APFA, he said.
Although the championship is open for the registered clubs only, it has been decided to give certain time period for the interested new clubs to get registered under APFA, which will make them eligible to take part in the championship” informed State Coordinator, Orin Lego.
The final of the championship will be played on 6 October.
