ITANAGAR, Sep 3: Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso has lodged a complaint at the police station here against one Tenzing Norbu for spreading false allegation on the social media that Kaso and Land Management Minister Nabam Rebia masterminded the cash-for-job scam in the Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC).
In the FIR, Kaso challenged the legitimacy of Norbu’s allegation, stating that everyone is aware that the IMC jobs scam (involving 170 jobs) is under investigation by the SIC.
Kaso said the allegation, which has gone viral, defamed him and his credibility of character. He urged the investigation agency to book Norbu under the Indian cyber crime laws and unearth the truth behind the allegation.
