NAHARLAGUN, Sep 14: Sixteen medical officers (MO) from various health facilities in the state participated in a three-day training programme on routine immunization (RI), which concluded here on Friday.
The programme was aimed at equipping the MOs to, among other things, prepare dependable micro-plans, make correct vaccine and logistic calculations, deal with cases of adverse events following immunization, and conduct survey and analyze data for detecting the left-outs and dropouts in the community, in order to achieve the target set by the Centre for achieving full immunization by December 2018, State Immunization Officer Dr D Padung said.
